Euphoria star Barbie Ferreira looked pretty in pink this weekend at the 2023 Vogue Ball in Rio de Janeiro.

The 26-year-old star from Queens, New York – who was seen in a yellow dress while in Rio last week – glowed as she was seen at the famed Copacabana Palace in Rio.

That is where the Brazilian-rooted sandals brand Havaianas held their celebration.

This event focused on the new Havaianas x Barbie Ferreira global project launching soon.

In images taken by Daniel Janssens, Barbie looked her very best as she modeled a semi sheer dress with lace up gladiator style shoes.

Ferreira shared some snaps to Instagram, captioning the series of photos ‘in the motherland with @havaianas x @voguebrasil.’

Barbie has worked as a model, but she is best known for her role as Kat Hernandez in the HBO series Euphoria.

Fashion designer Atelier Michelly X used Havaianas’ slim square Flip Flops to develop an iconic heeled sandal bespoke to Barbie.

‘In a rhythm of party, Carnival and celebration, Havaianas brought actress Barbie Ferreira, global gen-z icon, to the Vogue Ball this past Friday at the Copacabana Palace,’ the press release noted.

The release added, ‘Barbie is the voice that represents the styles and aspirations of an entire generation that wishes to globally connect throughout the common values of freedom, dialogue and diversity. 

‘Through that energy, Barbie was invited by Havaianas to travel to Brazil to join the 2023 Vogue Ball and experience moments of freedom with her own style, including outfit creation from head to toe.’

Havaianas brand is part of Alpargatas’ portfolio, one of the most traditional companies in Brazil, with over 110 years of existence. 

The brand was officially created in 1962, being a pioneer in the segment of flip-flops in Brazil. 

Due to its quality and affordable price, Havaianas became a big hit in Brazil.  

Havaianas has more than 730 single-brand stores across the five continents – both franchise and own. Havaianas is present in over 120 countries and Brazil alone has more than 250 thousand points of sale.
