Madonna, 64, keeps low profile at New York airport amid relationship with boxer Joshua Popper

Madonna tried to keep a low profile as she walked through John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on Friday.

The Grammy winner, 64, who has been prepping for her Celebration Tour, marking the 40th anniversary of her career, was spotted wearing a full-length black puffy coat with a hood as she made her way through the busy airport.

The Material Girl singer wore dark sunglasses and donned black pants, a long black and white scarf, a floral sweater and black Moon Boots.

The Ray of Light artist carried a large black travel bag.

It was the first time the pop superstar had been seen in public since news broke she has been dating boxer Joshua Popper, 29. The pair reportedly began seeing each other after Madonna split from former boyfriend Andrew Darnell.

Page Six reported that sources claimed Madonna made a low-key appearance wearing a dress-down ensemble and a billed cap to watch her new boyfriend in a bout on night at the Classic Car Club at Pier 76.

It appears the pair met after one of her children began training with Josh at the Bredwinners Gym.

The singer was seen cuddling up to her sparring partner in a since-deleted series of snaps shared on Instagram earlier this month.

Sporting dark shades and the same floor-length black silk coat she wore to the  Grammys after-party in early February, Madonna can be seen pressing her lips against Popper’s shoulder and squeezing his bulging tattooed right arm as he makes a fist at the gym.

Neither Madonna nor Josh has spoken publicly about their romance, only sharing social media photos at the gym together.

When approached by DailyMail.com, the boxer refused to confirm or deny that he was dating the pop icon who is 36 years his senior.

It appears Madonna wants to keep her personal life to herself, curating her Instagram account to reflect the upcoming tour and nothing more.

She did share some video and photos of her four youngest kids — twins Estere and Stella, 10, Mercy James, 17 and David Banda, 17 — behind the scenes at rehearsals on social media.

The Evita star is also mom to adult children Lourdes Leon, 26, from her relationship with her former personal trainer Carlos Leon, and Rocco Ritchie, 22 whom she shared with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.

Speaking to Vanity Fair for its Icons Issue in Italy, France and Spain, she spoke about the challenges of motherhood.

‘Today, I am still struggling to understand how to be a mother and do my job’, she admitted.

‘Because, whoever you are, having children and raising them is a work of art. And no one gives you a manual. You have to learn from mistakes. It is a profession that requires a lot of time. And it is exhausting because there is never rest.’
