Arsenio Hall suffered a scary break-in at his Los Angeles home on Saturday while he was still in the house.

But sources from the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that the 66-year-old comedian previously had his home broken into in August, according to TMZ.

DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Hall to request comment.

The close proximity of the break-ins has left detectives trying to determine in the Coming To America actor may have been targeted by burglars.

The most recent attempt to get into the house was fairly brazen, occurring on Saturday morning around 11 a.m.

After hearing a loud sound, Hall rushed downstairs and discovered broken glass from a sliding door.

It’s not clear if he caught sight of the attempted intruder, or if they fled before he arrived.

But an earlier attempt in August seems to have been even more serious.

Police sources say two people broke a window at the back of the home and were apparently able to enter it.

Hall was again home as well, though the time of day of the break-in was noted.

The burglars ultimately fled the scene before taking anything, possibly because they realized the house was currently inhabited.

Police were called and responded to both break-ins, but they weren’t able to find any of the suspects before they fled the area.

Detectives are now combing through security camera footage taken both from Hall’s property and from cameras located in the neighborhood in hopes of identifying the burglars.

They are also investigating to determine if the suspects in the two break-ins may have been the same people targeting the actor and talk show host.
