Teresa Giudice recreated her iconic table flip from Real Housewives Of New Jersey but it was not enough as she finished in the bottom two before ultimately beiong saved by the judges during the season 31 premiere of Dancing With The Stars on the Disney+ service.

During their dance number, the 50-year-old reality star and pro partner Pasha Pashkov, 36, moved and grooved on stage to cover of Rihanna hit We Found Love before Teresa grabbed a prop table and tossed it in the air.

The moment was a callback to the first season of Bravo’s RHONJ season 1 which saw Teresa destroy a dinner table in a heated exchange with Danielle Staub which has become one of the most iconic moments of all-time in the Housewives universe.

The reality star is lucky to be dancing another day as  Sex And The City actor Jason Lewis, 51, and his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd, 36, were the first couple to be eliminated after also finishing in the bottom two.

In the final minutes of the two-hour premiere, the judges voted to save Teresa over Jason.

‘I am so sad that I have to go home,’ Jason said. ‘Such a wonderful group of people. There is so much talent here and how wonderful everyone did and how supportive everyone’s been, it’s been great.’

Jason danced the Cha-cha-cha to Get Lucky by Daft Punk, but the judges were not impressed.

‘It was a very disappointing performance,’ head judge Len Goodman, 78, said.

The judges gave them a combined score of 18 out of 40.

‘This is a lot harder than I thought it would be,’ Teresa said.

Singer Jordin Sparks, 32, who was paired with Brandon Armstrong, was the first of the 16 contestants to hit the dance floor. Jordin and Brandon did the Cha-cha-cha to Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

‘I won American Idol. I’m going to win this, too,’ Jordin declared.

‘It was clean, it was clear, it was precise,’ Len said. ‘I thought you did a fantastic job.

‘That was a great first dance,’ judge Derek Hough, 37, said. ‘Well done.

‘You came out with such a wonderful sunny disposition, however a few dark clouds appeared with regard to the technique,’ Len said.

Heidi D’Amelio, 50, TikTok star Charlie’s mother, paired with Artem Chigvintsev. Heidi, who shared that she had been a competitive dancer, danced the Cha-cha-cha to the song Lady Marmalade.

‘What have we got here, a red hot mama,’ Bruno said.

The judges gave them a combined score of 24 out of 40.

Coda actor Daniel Durant, 42, who is deaf, was paired with dancer Britt Stewart.

‘I’m fully deaf and I’ve been that way since I was born,’ Daniel said. ‘Deaf people can’t hear music but we can feel it, and I want to show the world that deaf people can dance too!’

Daniel and Britt danced the Tango to Barbara Streisand by Duck Sauce.

‘First Coda wins an Oscar, next I got to get a Mirrorball,’ Daniel said to the camera. ‘It will happen.’

Country singer Jessie James Decker, 34, who was partnered with Alan Bersten, danced the Cha-cha-cha to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Sweet Home Alabama. Jessie wrapped her legs around Alan when she finished and received a standing ovation from the audience.

‘You danced like a true artist,’ Carrie Ann said tearfully. ‘Seeing you come out here with your circumstance and just making everyone aware that you are fully able to do and achieve anything you put your mind to.’
