Olivia Wilde stuns in plunging white cut-out dress while leaving The Late Show… after confirming beau Harry Styles DID NOT spit on Chris Pine

After rocking a rather casual look to appear on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Olivia Wilde left the show in an elegant white gown.

The 38-year-old actress and filmmaker (born Olivia Jane Cockburn) was spotted leaving the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City after The Late Show taping on Wednesday evening.

Her departure comes after she confirmed her boyfriend and Don’t Worry Darling co-star Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine, while also discussing Shia LaBeouf‘s departure.

She was discussing the ‘weird rumors’ that were swirling around the production, when she mentioned, ‘spitgate,’ joking, ‘which you might have heard of.’

Colbert referred to his notes, which included the question, ‘Did Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine? Why or why not? Support your answer.’

A laughing Wilde said, ‘He did not, but I think it’s a perfect example of people will look for drama anywhere they can.’

She definitively added, ‘Harry did not spit on Chris, in fact,’ while Colbert joked, ‘Only time will tell.’

‘No, he really didn’t!’ Wilde said with a laugh.

She also cleared the air about her one-time Don’t Worry Darling co-star Shia LaBeouf, who she claimed was let go from the film, though the actor claims he quit.

When asked if she fired Shia, Wilde said, ‘We had to replace Shia. He is a fantastic actor, but it wasn’t gonna work. When he gave me the ultimatum of, you know, him or Florence, I chose Florence.’

She added, ‘That was him feeling he was stepping away and me feeling like we were moving on without him.’

When Colbert asked if he left in such a way that he could think he quit and she could think he was fired and they were both right, Wilde said, ‘It’s a question of semantics. It wasn’t going to move forward in a way he wanted it to, so he had to leave.’
