Kourtney Kardashian got candid about her life with husband Travis Barker as she revealed they still do not live in the same home and that she still co-sleeps with her 10-year-old daughter, Penelope – and has since the day she was born.
The 43-year-old reality star appeared on Dear Media’s Not Skinny, Not Fat podcast on Tuesday, during which she opened up about her blended family’s unique living situation.
She and the former Blink-182 drummer, 46, wed in May of this year, however, the reality star revealed that they are still living in separate homes, which neighbor one another.
Both Kourtney and Travis have children from previous relationships – the model shares daughter Penelope, 10, and sons Mason, 12, and Reign, seven, with her former partner Scott Disick, while Travis welcomed a son named Landon, 18, and a daughter named Alabama, 16, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler – so they have opted not to move in together just yet, as Kourtney explained they want their kids to be ‘comfortable.’

She added that she and her husband are planning to move into a main, joint house soon, but that right now, they’re in no rush since they each have their ‘routines’ within their respective houses.

She explained to host Amanda Hirsch: ‘We want our kids to also feel really comfortable and they have both lived in their homes their whole lives for the most part, and they each have their rooms and we are a block away.’
Kourtney also admitted that she still shares a bed with her daughter Penelope; the youngster, along with her brothers, split their time between Kourtney’s home and their dad, Scott’s home.
‘She’s slept with me every day since she was born,’ the Poosh founder revealed.
The news may come as a surprise to some, given how inertly romantic she and Travis are in public – they often pack on the PDA in front of cameras and shared loved-up pictures to social media – but the mom-of-three added that when her kids are over at their father’s place, she is able to enjoy some personal time with the rockstar.
And even while the couple is focused on parenting their kids, she said they always find a way to make their relationship a priority.
‘When the kids are at their dad’s house, I stay at his house and there’s still nights when we’ll stay at each other’s houses in between,’ she dished.

‘I get up at six in the morning and I carpool every morning, and then I go straight to his house and have matcha. He has it ready for me.
‘We have, like, a thing and he comes over every night no matter what. He comes over here and kisses me whether it’s midnight and he is getting back from the studio or whatever.’
As the power couple are known for being hands-on, Kourtney admitted that their children have all seen it.
But she insisted that they try to be as ‘respectful’ as possible to the kids, and that while they sometimes tell her that their affection is ‘gross,’ they ‘love that they love each other’ in the end.
She explained: ‘We try to be respectful, too, of the kids and want everyone to feel comfortable.
‘But, yeah, sometimes we’ll be hugging or just like staring into each other’s eyes and the kids will be like, “Ew, gross!” Even the older kids. But I think also they love that we love each other.’
Kourtney gushed about her connection with her ‘mini-me’ daughter during the interview, while revealing that they still sleep in the same bed.
‘Unless she has a friend sleep over or unless she leaves me to go sleep at Travis’ or Auntie Coco’s [Khloé] or Auntie Kiki’s [Kim],’ she said.
‘We are so close. She is such… I can’t even explain it. She is my girl that I do not worry about.’

As Kourtney was very open about her relationship throughout the podcast, there was one subject that she played coy about.
Travis has been vocal about liking his wife’s feet in the past, and has often posted photos of them on social media – so host Amanda inquired if the musician has a foot fetish.
Kourtney did not answer the question directly but didn’t deny it, as she said: ‘I mean, if somebody wants to pay extra attention to my feet, I’m not mad at that. Well, my husband, not just anybody.’
The mother-of-three also said that Travis ’embraces her tiny, size five feet’ but would not share any further details on the matter.
Kourtney and Travis were confirmed to be dating in January 2021 after they spent years as friends.
In October 2021, the pair became engaged when the Blink-182 drummer proposed beachside at a hotel in Montecito, California.
They had an unofficial wedding in April of this year in Las Vegas after he performed at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
Then, the couple officially married at a courthouse in Santa Barbara, California, a month later on May 15.
After that, they had a religious wedding ceremony in front of their friends and family in Portofino, Italy, a week later on May 22.
