Aerosmith CANCEL final two shows of Deuces Are Wild residency in Las Vegas due to Steven Tyler’s illness
Aerosmith has canceled the final two shows of their Las Vegas residency due to frontman Steven Tyler’s ill-health.
The band was due to play shows on Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10, at but had to cancel the shows at the Dolby Live stage because of 74-year-old Tyler’s health issues, the nature of which has not been disclosed.
Aerosmith posted a picture to their social media account apologizing for the unexpected cancelation – which comes days after they canceled their December 2 and December 5 shows.

‘To all our fans…we are so sorry to announce we are cancelling these last two Las Vegas shows,’ it read. ‘On the advice of doctors, Steven has to sit these out. Stay healthy and we’ll see you in the New Year.’
The show on December 2 was canceled just two hours before the curtain was set to rise at the Dolby Live stage due to illness.
The band released a statement on social media revealing that Tyler, who was said to be ‘doing extremely well‘ this past summer after a stint in rehab, had taken sick.

Message: The group released a message apologizing for canceling the show before its December 2 show
‘It is with great disappointment that we are forced to cancel tonight’s show in Las Vegas due to Steven feeling unwell and unable to perform,’ the group wrote.
‘He is expected to make a full recovery for Monday night’s Las Vegas show. We sincerely apologize for the last minute notice.’
Disappointed fans were told they would receive a refund for their tickets.
There was no word on what kind of illness the Walk This Way singer was suffering from.

The rockers had to cancel the first leg of their stay in May when Steven voluntarily checked into rehab after relapsing on pain medication following foot surgery.
The best selling American rock band recently penned a deal with Universal Music Group to put their hits under one umbrella, which includes all their past music and any future hits.
The deal also includes video and pictures and any individual work from Steven and all the band’s members: Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Brad Whitford, and Joey Kramer.
Aerosmith was founded 50 years ago and has sold more than 150 million albums around the world.
