Jason Momoa proves he has always been a sex symbol in resurfaced Baywatch photos from 2000
He left fans weak at the knees with his smoldering turn in Aquaman.
But in resurfaced photos from Baywatch: Hawaii, Jason Momoa proved he has been turning up the heat since all the way back in the early 2000s.
Jason was in his early 20s in the shirtless snaps, which show him without the long hair and beard that have since become part of his signature look.

Baywatch was set in Los Angeles for its first nine seasons at NBC, when the lifeguard show made stars out of Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff.
Jason joined the cast as a character called Jason Ioane for the 10th and 11th seasons, which were rechristened Baywatch: Hawaii and filmed in the Aloha State.
He was also featured in Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding, a 2003 reunion TV movie that brought back David, Pamela and Nicole Eggert in their old roles.
By the time he made that TV movie, he had the long hair he is now famous for, though the equally well-known beard was still to come.

He booked his Baywatch: Hawaii role at the age of 19 through an open casting call that reeled in 1,300 hopefuls, according to a Men’s Journal profile.
It was this job that gave him the acting bug, though it did not initially help him get more work, so he used the proceeds to enjoy life, travel, paint and so forth.
Jason, who is part Native Hawaiian, rose to prominence with his role as Khal Drogo on the first two season of Game Of Thrones beginning in 2011.

He first played Aquaman in the 2016 film Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, reprising his role in 2017’s Justice League and last month’s standalone feature.
His Aquaman co-star Amber Heard told ABC that during filming, when she would be reading a book on set, Jason had a rather unorthodox means of drawing her focus.
‘He adopted this method of ripping out the pages of my book so I would pay attention to him. It would drive me crazy because I’d have 30 pages left and it would be gone,’ said Amber, who was also in Justice League.
