Miley Cyrus had a blast with family at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10, but her husband, Liam Hemsworth, was noticeably absent from the event.
Hemsworth’s Isn’t It Romantic costar Rebel Wilson told Extra earlier Sunday that the 29-year-old actor was hospitalized the night before the awards show, but she didn’t provide any further details about what caused his illness. Wilson, 38, noted: “He texted us this morning. He was in hospital overnight, so hopefully he will be fine.”
A source now tells Us Weekly that the Hunger Games alum “canceled his junket interviews Sunday because he was suffering from kidney stones.”
Cyrus, 26, walked the red carpet at the Grammys with her mom, Tish Cyrus, and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer was later joined by her younger sister, Noah Cyrus, in the audience after Miley performed “In My Blood” with Shawn Mendes and participated in the star-studded tribute to her godmother, Dolly Parton.
“My #1,” the Hannah Montana alum captioned an Instagram photo of herself and Noah, 19, in the crowd. “The coolest girl I know. Sickest songwriter. Vocalist . Style Goddess. & above all the best little sister I could’ve ever asked for. @noahcyrus @recordingacademy.”
Miley and the Independence Day: Resurgence star have been dating on and off for nearly a decade. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in Nashville on December 23, 2018. Hemsworth later revealed that the Miles to Go author took his last name after the wedding.
“That was honestly one of the best things about [getting married],” the Australia native said on Live With Kelly and Ryan on Friday, February 8. “I didn’t ask her to take my name, but she was like, ‘No, of course I’m taking your name.’”
