Miley Cyrus: ‘My Man’ Liam Hemsworth Is ‘Not Well’ After Hospitalization

Poor guy! Miley Cyrus shared an update on her husband Liam Hemsworth’s health as he recovers from a recent hospitalization for kidney stones.

“My man’s not well,” the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer, 26, told Us Weekly and other reporters while attending the world premiere of Hemsworth’s movie Isn’t It Romantic on his behalf at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on Monday, February 11. “I’m representing for him.”

Rebel Wilson revealed on Sunday, February 10, that costar Hemsworth, 29, went to the hospital overnight, though she did not disclose why. A source later confirmed to Us that the actor “was suffering from kidney stones” and was unable to promote his film or support Cyrus as she performed at the Grammy Awards.

“He’s down. He’s not feeling well right now,” the Hannah Montana alum told Variety on Monday. “He just had some health things, and I think that’s most important [because] entertainers, we have a really hard time taking care of ourselves.”

Cyrus revealed to the magazine that she had not seen the comedy prior to the premiere, but she “heard he’s just so funny in it.” She then called Hemsworth “the funniest person I ever met” before joking that she only showed up because she “already had the dress” custom-made by Maison Valentino.

The former Voice coach later took to Instagram and shared a series of sweet messages about her “hunky hubby,” writing that “the world now gets to see the Liam I wake up to every day” after checking out his new flick. She also posted a photo of herself standing in front of a poster of Hemsworth playing a saxophone, adding the NSFW caption: “Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you. Play that sax you sexy f–k.”

Though the “Wrecking Ball” singer flew solo at the Isn’t It Romantic screening, she brought her parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, and sister Noah Cyrus to the Grammys on Sunday. She was not nominated this year, but she performed as part of an all-star tribute to her godmother, Dolly Parton.

Miley and the Hunger Games star tied the knot in Nashville in December after nearly a decade together. They met on the set of the 2010 film The Last Song.
