He is a noted motorcycle enthusiast who got a chance to ride one on-screen in the latest Matrix sequel.

And Keanu Reeves kept up his love for motorcycles on Tuesday, when he was spotted after going for a ride with friends in Malibu.

Keanu looked sleek and effortlessly cool in a black jacket with white stripes running down the sleeves.

He paired it with dark jeans and brown boots, and he had a gray shirt on underneath his jacket.

The Bram Stoker’s Dracula star wore his dark hair down to his shoulders, and he sported a salt-and-pepper beard, along with a set of black sunglasses.

After satisfying his need for speed, Keanu appeared to catch up with his pals in a parking lot, where they had a cooler for refreshments.

Keanu’s care-free outing comes after a major shakeup in the highly anticipated limited series Devil In The White City.

According to Deadline, the actor dropped out of the project after he was first reported to have joined the series in August.

He was set to play Daniel H. Burnham, a visionary architect who helped craft the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.

The show, based on the non-fiction bestseller of the same name by Erik Larson, contrasts Burnham’s accomplishments with the disturbing exploits of the serial killer H. H. Holmes, who operated in the area at the same time as the fair.

The series, which was originally envisioned as a film, is being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and his longtime creative partner Martin Scorsese.

Earlier this month, Keanu excited fans of his comic book series BRZRKR when he shared that he was considering directing the upcoming film adaptation for Netflix in an interview with Collider.

He admitted that he hadn’t yet read the screenplay, but he compared a desire to helm the film after writing the source material to the process that led him to make his directorial debut with 2013’s Man Of Tai Chi.

‘I know how it’s a lot of work, but the film that I directed, Man Of Tai Chi, was born, I became the director because I was part of the writing process, and I didn’t want to hand it over,’ he explained. ‘I was like, oh, OK. I have to direct this. I’m not quite there yet on BRZRKR. I have to read the script, but I’m also interested in having a collaborator and what they could bring to it

Reeves is already set to play the lead in the film, which would be fitting, as the character in the comics, an immortal warrior who goes by Berzerker, is clearly designed to look like the Matrix star.

In September, Deadline reported that Reeves was on board to reprise the title role in a sequel to his 2005 superhero–horror film Constantine.

Constantine, who was the lead in the Hellblazer series of comics, is an exorcist and an occult detective.

The previous Constantine film was derided by critics but was a hit at the box office, and Reeves’ continued success with audiences is likely a good omen for a sequel.

Keanu will also be seen in the upcoming fourth John Wick film, which finished filming late last year and is set for a March 2023 release.
