RHOA’s Kandi Burruss says filming reunion specials makes her ‘stomach turn’ because she hates arguing

Kandi Burruss confessed that filming reunion specials of Real Housewives of Atlanta make her ‘stomach turn’ from all the stress because she hates ‘arguing with people.’

Despite starring on Bravo’s hit reality show since 2009, the reality star, 46, explained why she never looks forward to taping the reunions, which involve lots of shouting, resurrecting old fights and exchanging snarky one liners.

‘I never look forward to hashing it out with any of them, to be clear, I always hate reunions,’ she told Access Hollywood‘s Housewives Nightcap ahead of the taping of the 14th reunion.

She continued: ‘For years, it makes my stomach turn whenever I go into a reunion because I hate arguing with people and I always know that it’s going to be just complete back and forth.’

The mother-of-three noted that, in the past, she was unaware that ‘a lot of people that were just coming for [her] neck’ until watching the drama unfold on her TV.

‘They had a lot of things to say that I didn’t know that was happening when I was standing around,’ the singer reflected. ‘They weren’t really saying some of those things, so obviously, that’s got to be addressed.’

The No Scrubs hitmaker admitted to regretting an argument with her costar Marlo Hampton, who she pointed out ‘can go below the belt’ with her insults.

‘The argument went way out of hand … It was very disrespectful on both parts. We both were going at each other,’ Burruss said.

When asked if she would consider appearing on Peacock’s popular spinoff serious, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, the performer was blunt about why she would decline the offer.

‘I don’t really think that’s for me and it’s not that I think is anything wrong with it, I just feel like the people who I would have probably seen myself being on [RHUGT] with, have already done it,’ she said, alluding to castmates Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore.
