Jessica Chastain arrives to The View to discuss her Broadway return after 10 years in A Dolls House

Jessica Chastain, 45, wows in emerald green tailored suit as she promotes a return to Broadway in A Doll’s House

Jessica Chastain cut a stylish figure as she arrived at ABC Studios to appear on The View in New York City Friday morning.

The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress looked stunning in a long emerald green blazer and matching fitted pants.

The beauty, who narrowly missed contracting COVID-19 earlier this month, wore her signature long red hair down with a middle part and opted for glossy nude lipstick and blush for a youthful glow.

She smiled and waved at onlookers, who gathered outside the building to catch a glimpse of her.

Chastain talked up her return to Broadway after 10 years in Henrik Ibsen’s landmark drama A Doll’s House, which will open March 9 at the Hudson theatre.

The plot of A Doll’s House follows the power struggle between a man and his wife as she attempts to assert her freedom.

Jessica plays Nora Helmer in a freshly relevant take on the classic drama written nearly 150 years ago in 1879.

She said she feels ‘nervous’ about getting sick while starring on Broadway.

The actress is set to take on the leading role of Nora in the Henrik Ibsen play A Doll’s House – which tells the story of a housewife who finds herself limited in life by a male-dominated world – at the Hudson Theatre from March, but

Jessica has admitted to being anxious about her role in the production.

The acclaimed actress – who is one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood – explained: ‘It’s pretty great. I’m doing a play right now in New York, I’m gonna be doing A Doll’s House, and I’m playing Nora. So I’m really excited about that.

‘I’m a little nervous about getting sick but I’ve got my mask. I’m doing both but oh my gosh, you have to be so careful in the theatre and I don’t want to let my cast down.’

The show reunited her and Michael Shannon, whom she starred with in the 2011 psychological thriller Take Shelter.

The show follows Tammy and George as they thunder through drugs, fights, and even – in her case – shock therapy.

The duo had a dramatic and explosive marriage from 1969 to 1975, scarred by problems including his galloping alcoholism.

In addition to her busy work schedule, Chastain is married to Gian Luca, an executive for the fashion brand Moncler.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye star and her spouse share two young children named Giulietta and Augustus.
