It seems that love may well be in the air for Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer, who has been dating a mystery man named ‘Bill’ for more than six months, according to her ex-husband. 

In an astonishingly candid interview with DailyMail.com, Ramona’s ex Mario Singer claimed that his former wife has been quietly dating a new man – adding that the relationship has grown so serious, he was preparing to meet him in person. 

‘I’m going to meet Ramona’s new boyfriend for dinner tonight, he’s called Bill,’ Mario shared at New York’s Shanghai at Hutong where he and Ramona were celebrating the launch of their daughter Avery’s new concierge business, BachBoss.

But while friends of the 66-year-old former RHONY star described her new romance as ‘hot and heavy’, they say she is eager to keep her new beau under wraps while he finalizes his divorce.

The 66-year-old former reality star split from her ex-husband Mario (seen together in 2014) after catching him having an affair with a woman almost 30 years his junior  

‘He’s waiting for his divorce to come through so she won’t tell any of her friends what is last name is,’ a close pal told DailyMail.com, adding: ‘They were very hot and heavy in Miami in November.’

Ramona’s reluctance to share details about her romance may well explain why the reality star emphatically denied any rumors of a relationship during the same launch event, telling DailyMail.com: ‘I have a lot of great men in my life. I haven’t found the one yet, but I know I will.’

The reality star, who wowed in a Nadine Merabi jumpsuit, also offered up some advice to anyone else who is still looking for the perfect partner. 

‘Don’t just be waiting around for the right man, for the knight in shining armor,’ she said. ‘It is important for you to be happy first and then it will come.

‘You need to manifest what you want. I started manifesting all the characteristics that I want and now I’m finding them in the men I’m dating. 

‘My friends always used to laugh at me for having a list of 20 characteristics but now I’m finding it. It’s all about what you put out.’

Mario – who was married to Ramona for 22 years before their romance ended in an acrimonious split when she caught him cheating with his ‘mistress’ Kasey Dexter – also shared that his own relationship with the former reality star as come on leaps and bounds, noting that he regularly stays with her when he’s in New York. 

However on this occasion he admitted that he’d had to find other accommodation, hinting that her new beau may have been staying with Ramona instead: ‘I stay with her when I’m in New York… but not this time.’ 

After an acrimonious split, the former spouses have found common ground – and came together on Wednesday night to celebrate the launch of the daughter Avery’s new business

Although Mario has managed to mend relations with his ex-wife, who has reportedly amassed a fortune of $16 million through her business, RMS Fashions, he didn’t hold back when it came to joking about the type of man she tends to date.  

He admitted that he doesn’t know exactly what ‘Bill’ does but assumes he’s wealthy, quipping: ‘Knowing Ramona, I would think so.’ 

Mario and Ramona  famously split in 2014 after it was revealed on the popular Bravo show that he had been having a lengthy affair with Kasey, who is almost 30 years his junior. 

The businessman was first accused of having a clandestine affair with his younger ‘mistress’ in 2013 – however it was claimed in February 2014 that they had gone their separate ways, before reuniting just months later. 

Ramona reportedly discovered that her husband had rekindled his romance with Kasey in July 2014 – and promptly ‘threw him out’ of their home – with the Real Housewife admitting in 2015 that she had been left ‘traumatized’ by his infidelity. 

‘I was traumatized and on a lot of medication to deal with his infidelity,’ she admitted during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.  

Ramona’s friends Dorinda Medley, Candace Bushnell, and Anna Rothschild were out in force to support her and Avery – who has just launched a new concierge service called BachBoss 

The former reality star also recalled the moment that she caught her husband with Kasey in their Hamptons home, saying: ‘I had a feeling that girl would be there. She was in the kitchen.

‘He was so shocked to see me… It was such an awkward, horrible moment. It was actually like out of a horror picture. It was a horror picture.’ 

After Ramona and Mario ended their marriage, he moved to Boca Raton with Kasey and the pair lived there together for five years before splitting when the businessman discovered she had been having an affair with another man.  

Earlier this year, Ramona rubbished Luann de Lesseps’ claims she has a new boyfriend claiming her co-star was so happy with a new boyfriend, telling Page Six: ‘I haven’t seen or spoken to Luann in a while. Luann is not up to date.’

The denial came after de Lesseps mentioned in a Q&A in Boston that Singer was enjoying a romance with a new man and was very happy.
