Lisa Hochstein owes legal team over $85,000 amid ugly divorce from ex Lenny Hochstein

Real Housewives Of Miami star Lisa Hochstein owes her legal team more than $85,000 as she continues battling it out with her ex-husband Lenny Hochstein in the divorce courts.

The attorneys representing her in her divorce alleged she owed that figure in court documents obtained by Page Six.

Attorney Paul Leinoff claims Lisa, 40, who fist retained her lawyers in April 26, has a $49,171.48 bill for ‘legal fees, costs and suit monies due to Leinoff & Lemos, P.A.’

She also owes an additional $35,841.90 to accounting firm Kaufman Rossin & Co., Leinoff added.

The total – $85,013.38 – will continue to grow. Interest has also been tacked on until it has been paid off.

The law firm is seeking to have their bill paid by any settlement money Lisa receives in her divorce.

‘As is customary in divorce proceedings, there is a hearing scheduled in April to determine who’s responsible for the legal fees,’ a representative for the reality star told the site. ‘As of now, Lenny is not giving the support that is customary in this situation.’

In November, Lisa claimed she was unable to ‘buy diapers and food’ for the two children she shares with Lenny, daughter Elle, three, and son Logan, seven, as she sought temporary alimony from him.

Additionally, she claimed he had not transferred money into her account ‘in several months’ and left her with only a ‘two-door’ vehicle to transport their minor children after he ‘took her car away.’

‘[Lenny’s] clear strategy now is to force [Lisa] into submission by refusing to provide [Lisa] or minor children with any direct support,’ the documents state.

The fitness guru also requested temporary support and to be awarded attorneys’ fees, despite his claims that she earns ‘$30,000 per episode’ of her reality series on Bravo.

In October, Lenny’s team wrote in legal documents that it ‘is undisputed that [Lisa] earns significant income as a television star and personality.’

Previously, Lisa accused Lenny of trying to ‘financially strangle her’ and put her in ‘financial peril’ amid their divorce.

Lisa said in separate court docs, viewed by Page Six, that when she doesn’t give in ‘to each and every one of [his] demands,’ her ex ‘retaliates by restricting [her] access to funds.’

Lisa told the court that the situation has gotten worse since Lenny — who filed to divorce Lisa this past May — began dating Austrian model Katharina Mazepa, 26.

Lisa said that Lenny had given her a joint credit card to cover ‘personal expenses, expenses for the household and expenses for the parties’ children,’ but has severely limited her resources since his relationship with Mazepa began.

‘While the husband is presently traveling on a no-expense-spared vacation with his presumed girlfriend to Europe,’ Lisa’s legal team said in court docs, ‘he has left the wife and children without cash, access to funds and less than $3,000 of available credit on the joint credit card.’

Lisa, who signed a prenuptial agreement before marrying Lenny in 2009, told the court that her attempts to communicate her concerns to Lenny about the issues have ‘fallen on deaf ears,’ and that Lenny ‘gets upset and verbally confronts [her] with demeaning comments’ whenever the issues arise.

The legal back-and-forth continued in December, when Lenny claimed Lisa had bought $9,000 worth of designer purchases shortly before he put her on a monthly limit, according to Page Six. Lenny made her return the purses but gave her cash she could spend on their children.

Last month, he also pointed out she has continued living in their Star Island mansion and ‘drives luxury vehicles including a Range Rover and a Rolls-Royce’ amid her ‘excessive’ support requests, according to Page Six.

The exes are attempting to settle issues regarding support without having a hearing, according to Page Six.

Lisa sobbed over the end of her marriage on RHOM, declaring: ‘In the blink of an eye, my life changed.’

‘I’m losing my best friend, I’m losing my husband – to another woman.’

Lisa previously said she was ‘blindsided’ when her husband of 12 years publicly announced he was filing for divorce last year.

He was immediately linked to Katharina, however he insisted he didn’t begin seeing her until his marriage was over.
