Pregnant Claire Danes cradles her baby bump while on a stroll during New York City’s heatwave

Claire Danes took advantage of the unusually warm weather in New York City on Thursday to go for a stroll. 

The Homeland star, who turned 44 on Wednesday, looked ready for the summer like weather in a gray tank top and blue leggings.

She cradled her growing baby bump and had her short, blonde hair pulled off her face with a black headband.

The Fleischman is in Trouble actress wore sunglasses and had a backpack on as well as her phone on a crossbody chain.

The actress shares son Cyrus, 10, and Rowan, four, with her husband of 13 years, Hugh Dancy.

The actress revealed she’s expecting her third child at the Golden Globe Awards in January.

While posing outside the awards show, the three-time Emmy winner revealed that her third pregnancy was ‘not so expected.’

‘Mama mode is all right. This one was – not so expected – but we’re thrilled, and here we go!’ Claire told ET’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner.

And her two sons aren’t necessarily all on board with the idea of a younger sibling.

The My So-Called Life alum said her older son Cyrus, ten, ‘was sort of resigned to it,’ as she joked about her four-year-old: ‘I mean, the worst has already happened — his name is Rowan,’ during an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

‘But Rowan has more to lose, like, he has more at stake. And he was categorically opposed to the idea.’

She continued playfully, ‘He said, “Yeah, no no no, I don’t like it. I like peace, Mama.” I was like, that’s rich because that dude does not shut up.’

The blonde beauty shared that the youngster also made a cute suggestion as he told her, ‘When it comes out of your tummy, we’ll give it to a family that doesn’t have a baby because we’re done.’

The Romeo and Juliet star was able to sway Rowan by explaining his future role as a big brother. 

‘He was less than thrilled but then we talked about how when the baby comes out, it’s going to be pretty dumb [and] doesn’t know a lot, [and will] need assistance and some educating.’

She went on, ‘That was interesting to him. He liked the idea of being a condescending presence. So, now he’s a little more optimistic.’

Claire and Hugh met on the 2006 set of Lajos Koltai’s Evening, in which they portrayed love interests.

Claire previously recalled how, when she met Hugh on the set of Evening, it came at a time she had vowed to stay single, having been ‘in relationships from the moment puberty hit.’

However, she went on a date with an unnamed guy and they had a one-night stand and her ‘palate was cleansed.’

After that, she realized her feelings for her co-star were more than just what they were depicting on screen

The couple celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary in September.
