Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman have signed on to star in Paramount’s movie adaptation of Leanne Shapton’s book ‘Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry’, Variety reports.   Let’s hope they change the title of the movie – this title will be way too hard to remember.

The book is set up like an estate auction catalog with 325 entries and photographs for items that reveal the story behind the rise and fall of a four-year relationship between a fictitious 40ish photographer, played by Brad Pitt and a New York Times food columnist in her late 20s, played by Natalie Portman. It is being described as a romantic comedy.

I am looking forward to this movie.  Even if they decided to make it a silent film (they are not going to) I would go – Natalie Portman and Brad Pitt on the same screen at the same time.  Now that is jaw dropping and worth paying the price of a movie ticket!! What do you think??
