What should have been a happy moment in Taylor Swift’s life was ruined by Kanye West.
Taylor Swift was on stage accepting her award for Best Female Video of the year at the Video Music Awards (VMA’s) when Kanye West decided to interrupt her acceptance speech. Kanye grabbed the microphone and said,
“Beyonce had one of the greatest videos of all time”
The camera quickly turned to Beyonce, who can be seen saying “oh my god”. She looked shocked just like the rest of the audience.
Swift looked devastated. Rightly so. While I love Single Ladies by Beyonce – it was not necessary for West to be his classless self at Swift’s expense.
