With all of the success from ABC’s, ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’ it was only a matter of time before the bachelor’s and bachelorette’s who weren’t chosen had their own show.
ABC has a new show coming out with some of the favorite bachelors and bachelorette’s called Bachelor Pad. Who better to host along with Chris Harrison than Melissa Rycroft. Rycroft was the original “winner” from The Bachelor with Jason Mesnick only to have Jason break her heart on national television. Talk about making lemonade from lemons – Rycroft has gone on to greener pastures with Dancing With the Stars, guest stints on Good Morning America and now the new hostess of the Bachelor Pad.
The Bachelor Pad includes fan-favorites, arch-rivals, villains and the sexiest participants from the hugely successful “Bachelor” franchise reunite under one roof in a competitive reality series to compete for $250,000 and perhaps a “second chance” at love. The series begins with 19 of the most unforgettable characters from seasons past living together in the “Bachelor Pad” mansion. Each week they’ll square off in head-to-head challenges to compete for immunity and the opportunity to go on a date with contestants of their choice. The winner of the challenge will then grant immunity to one of his or her dates via the presentation of a rose. At the end of each episode, the contestants will vote amongst themselves to determine which cast members will be eliminated from the competition.
The 19 contestants set to lay it all on the line for love and/or money, in alphabetical order, are:
ASHLEY E. (“The Bachelor” Season 14)
Ashley once surprised Jake in a flight attendant costume and was never shy about using tricks or gimmicks to get her way. She’ll be sure to set off sparks among the gang.

Craig was the “villain” of Ali’s season and Jonathan N.’s (“the weatherman”) biggest antagonist. Fun and games are in store when he crosses paths once again with “the weatherman.”

David conceived of the “man code” (“certain things you do and you don’t do”) during Jillian’s season. Among the contestants standing in his way will be his nemesis, Juan B.

ELIZABETH K. (“The Bachelor” Season 14)
Elizabeth was labeled “the tease.” Jake once “made out” with her forehead when she told him to kiss her there. Shortly thereafter she was eliminated.

Gia showcased her “model behavior” by opening up to Jake about her insecurities.

To listen to Chris Harrison promote the show on Ryan Seacrest’s radio program yesterday you would think the Bachelor Pad is nothing more than gratuitous sex. “When you lock this many hot people in one room you get well er, sex. Sex? Lots of sex.” Chris went on to run poor Gia’s name into the ground…”think about it Gia hooking up with Wes, Gia with Jesse, Gia with whoever you’ll have to watch and see.” Absolutely disgusting prurient promotion! He should apologize to Gia publicly immediately! Especially because just a week before being locked up in the Bachelor Pad Gia tweeted, “I’m not married or engaged but I do have a Boyfriend just to clear the record : )” and in an interview said, “Yes, it is true…I am wearing a ring on my wedding finger. Chris (Campoli) got me a promise ring.” Wonder how Campoli feels now after hearing his girlfriend is having irresponsible sex with multiple partners? Half of the contestants have bf or gf, Tenley and Kiptyn have been seen together for months. Harrison’s deplorable slander of contestant’s reputations in the name of “great dramatic tv” has gotten ridiculous! We should start a rumor of what his wife Gwen is doing while Harrison is philandering in the house of gratuitous sex. Maybe then he would know what it feels like when he slams contestant’s good names. Bachelor Pad? Another manipulated Fleiss Fest.
