Exclusive Interview with Whitney Port at Coke Celebration

Coca-Cola celebrated its milestone 125th birthday with the official launch of the publication, Coca-Cola in conjunction with luxury fashion publisher, Assouline. VIP attendees included Whitney Port, Kelly Bensimon, and Adam Lippes.

I caught up with Whitney Port at the event to talk to her about what she has been up to since The City stopped filming, fashion, and more.

Now that The City is over, Whitney is hard at work on her fashion line Whitney Eve, which is going really well and she seems very excited and passionate about. Currently she is hard at work on her Spring 2012 line. With an amazing eye for fashion, I had to know the one look that Whitney could do without this season, in which she quickly responded “the skirts to the shins.”

Talking about her former co-star and friend Audrina Patridge, she only had great things to say.  Seeing as Whitney started on The Hills before landing her own show I thought it only fitting to see what advice she has for Audrina with her new reality show, but according to Whitney, “it looks like she is doing really well. I don’t think she needs my advice.”

I asked Whitney if there is anything her fans would be surprised to know about – she revealed her love to dance!

This event marked the worldwide launch event of Coca-Cola, a commemorative book and interactive iPad app, published by Assouline, the purveyor of the most coveted fashion and art books worldwide. Whitney Port said:

“Coca-Cola is something that will never go out of style and the new book is a testament to that! My first memory of Coca-Cola was enjoying an ice cold glass while watching my brother play baseball, and every time I drink it today, it reminds me of good times.”

The Coca-Cola iPad app by Assouline was unveiled through a selection of animations and video footage, allowing guests to enter the world of Coca-Cola virtually. The app launches on iTunes June 2nd.
