Last night fans and fellow performers around the world mourned the death of Beastie Boys’ Adam “MCA” Yauch, who died hours earlier after a long cancer battle.

During their performance at the Hollywood Bowl, British rockers, Coldplay  paid tribute to the fallen rapper with a special cover.

Chris Martin and the band played a touching, low-key, piano-led version of the Beasties’ hit “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)” — calling out Yauch by name and sending their love to the New York group.
