Ryan Gosling Reshoots Gangster Squad

Posted by August 22nd, 2012 | 0 Comments »

Ryan Gosling, America’s favorite dream boat, is filming reshoots for his period drama Gangster Squad.

Gosling was spotted on set in his 1930′s gear reshooting scene from the film that the Director and Writers deemed unsuitable in the wake of the Aurora, Colorado shootings. The filmmakers have also pushed the release date of the violent film back to 2013.

While it’s unclear exactly how many scenes are being reshot, it’s said that one of the scenes that appeared in the trailer that aired before The Dark Knight Rises was of gangsters unleashing a barrage of bullets in a movie theater. The promo was immediately pulled from all movie theaters in the wake of the tragedy and it’s likely that that is one of the scenes that will be cut from the final version of the film.
