Scarlett Johansson is returning to Broadway for a revival of Tennessee Williams’s ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.’  The Tony Award-winning actress will play the sex-starved Maggie in the Rob Ashford directed production.

It will be Johansson’s first time back on Broadway since appearing in the Arthur Miller play ‘A View’.

The revival will begin previews Dec. 18 and open Jan. 17 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

It will also star Benjamin Walker (“Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson”) as Maggie’s alcoholic ex-athlete husband, Brick.

Ciaran Hinds (“Game of Thrones”) will play Brick’s blustery plantation-owner father, Big Daddy. Tony winner Debra Monk (“Redwood Curtain”) will play Big Mama.
