When Madonna tells you to stop smoking, you had better listen!! The singer was doing a sound check in Chile when several fans lit up and she was hit with second hand smoke.
Madonna made a serious threat to the smokers telling them “PUT OUT YOUR BUTTS … OR I’M NOT GONNA PERFORM!!”
Madonna’s rant was caught on tape,
“There are people smoking right now….No smoking!” she continued, “If you’re going to smoke cigarettes, I’m not doing a show.” Followed by, “You don’t care about me? I don’t care about you. All right? Are we going to play that game? I’m not kidding. I can’t sing if you smoke .. Entiendes?”
And don’t question Madonna’s intelligence because she will call you on it,
“You’re looking right at me and smoking cigarettes, like I’m a stupid f**king idiot.”
The smokers put out their cigarettes and Madonna’s concert went on as scheduled.
