The rocker, Terry McDermott, takes on a rock anthem: The Beatles’ “Let It Be,” during The Voice Semi-Finals.

Terry’s Song Let It Be – I’m not familiar with this song, but I think Terry did a great job with it. His voice was completely clear throughout, and during the portions where he had to hit some high notes he made it seem so ridiculously easy. Terry seems to be a huge fan favorite because the crowd was going crazy.

Judges’ Comments: Carson asks Adam to lead things off with the coaches input, and Adam simply says, “Thank God for you Terry,” because going on to talk about how Terry is just completely inspiring and can give hope to people. Blake tells Terry that that song is “sacred ground,” and that there’s only a handful of singers around the world who should ever attempt it and he’s one of them. He also says that while there’s no scientific formula for deciding what is musically perfect, he strongly believes that that performance was it.
