American Idol Season 12 premiered in New York City on Wednesday night.  Quite a few very talented singers came out to audition on the AI stage including,  Tenna Torres, Michael Bounapane , Sarah Restuccio, Ashlee Feliciano, Angela Miller and more.

Night #2 of AI brings the auditions to Chicago, where Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson will continue the search for the best singers in America.

Mackenzie Wasner, 17, from Tennessee, performed Vince Gill’s “Whenever You Come Around.”  With a lot of love from the judges, she is headed to Hollywood.

Kiara Lanier from Chicago gave an amazing audition of Celine Dion’s “The Prayer”.  We will be seeing her in Hollywood after she received a yes from all four judges.
