General Hospital Recap for May 11, 2015 – May 15, 2015
This week on General Hospital, the town says good-bye to one of their own – Mr.Duke Lavery, Jake gets into a complicated situation, and live from LA, it’s General Hospital!
At the docks Anna is relieved to see Duke. Now they can run away together! However Duke stumbles, revealing that he has been shot in the stomach. Anna cradles him as she calls 911. She tries to get Duke to tell her who did this and begs for him to stay with her. Duke is barely holding on as he is transported to the hospital.
Meanwhile Olivia and her premature baby boy are brought into General Hospital. The baby’s lungs are underdeveloped, so the neonatal team has to stabilize him before taking him to the NICU. Julian bursts in, demanding to be a part of the emergency, but the doctor orders Olivia to choose between Ned and Julian. Olivia clearly prefers Ned, so Julian is forced to stew in the waiting area with Sam and Alexis. He whines that he wants to be a part of his son’s life, but Alexis reminds him that he is only causing Olivia more stress right now. The situation looks dire for Baby Falconeri, but we soon learn he is stabilized enough to head to the NICU!
Patrick is shocked to see Duke wheeled into the ER. He jumps from working on Olivia’s baby (and suffering no flashbacks to his own premature son, Gabriel) to working on saving Duke. Unfortunately, that does not go as well and Duke flat lines. Anna weeps over his body; they were supposed to go away together! She has loved him for so long. It can’t end like this! Anna hears Julian’s voice outside and quickly confronts him. Did he have anything to do with Duke’s shooting?! Alexis pulls them apart and quietly reiterates Anna’s question. Did he?
The police arrive at Jordan’s loft to deal with Bruce’s corpse. Sloane puts an APB on Anna and Duke, but later gets the news that Duke has been shot. Jordan realizes Duke must have ordered the hit seeing as his personal bodyguard was the one attempting to kill her. Shawn arrives after Bruce is taken away. Jordan explains someone tried to kill her, but lies that she did not recognize the shooter. She thinks it was someone from Julian’s organization. She asks Shawn to take her to his place.
At the PDPC Nathan grills Jake, who continues to insist he did not shoot Duke. Nathan feels Jake knows more than he is letting on and continues to question him.
Sabrina is shocked to find Carlos at her door. What is he doing here? Carlos explains he shot someone. Upset Sabrina declares she has had enough. She is done protecting him! Carlos says that even though his trial for Ava’s shooting is tomorrow, he is skipping town. Turns out there was an eyewitness and now with tonight’s events, he has to go. But can he spend the night? Sabrina sighs.
