Iggy Azalea Is Engaged To Nick Young!

By on June 2, 2015

Congratulations are in order for Iggy Azalea as the singer has announced that she and boyfriend Nick Young are officially engaged. It just happened to be Nick’s birthday so he decided to get the best present ever…a wife. If you are unsure as to who he is, he plays for the LA Lakers and is commonly referred to as Swaggy P. It is no typical yellow diamond, not for the “Fancy” singer. Nick Young personally designed the ring which makes it even more special. Details on the ring: start with Jason Arasheben, a fabulous Beverly Hills designer. Then, the two collaborated to create a 10.43-carat ring which consists of an 8.15-carat intense yellow diamond as well as a white diamond halo set into white gold. How amazing does that sound? And this did not just happen overnight.

It was at the beginning of Spring when Nick decided to go speak with Jason about the ring. But they are not shy about lavish gifts as Christmas was filled with cars and diamonds. But this ring had to be perfect, according to what Jason said to People Magazine: “Nick started throwing around ideas of possible ring styles nearly two months ago. He really took his time and made four separate trips to see me. He knew he wanted a cushion-shape stone. He was very meticulous and changed minor details on the design a few times until we both felt it was perfect. He was really determined to create the perfect ring for her. We wanted it to be both a ring of Iggy’s dreams and a ring that fit her personal style. It is always an honor when a client trusts me to help design a ring that symbolizes one of the most important decisions of their life.”

Iggy immediately took to Instagram after the proposal to show off her new bling and the love for her soon-to-be-husband. We wish them all the best and we cannot wait for wedding details and the date, of course!
