After receiving numerous calls about a car driving erratically, the police pulled the car over that was driven by Stamos. When the police pulled Stamos over, he showed the officers his driver’s license and identified himself verbally. Stamos was transferred to a local hospital where he was examined for a possible medical condition. Maybe the police wanted to give Stamos the benefit of the doubt and make sure he wasn’t sick, but rather just inebriated. His intoxication was confirmed while at the hospital, where Stamos was arrested for driving under the influence and given a citation but released to the hospital for treatment.

Stamos was driving alone when he was taken to the hospital and later arrested. He is set to appear in court on September 11, 2015.

This isn’t the first time Stamos has had issues with alcohol, in 2007, the actor made an appearance on an Australian TV talk show where he slurred his words, made lewd gestures and wandered around the studio in a daze. He later admitted that he was drunk.

Before appearing on the long running sitcom, Full House, Stamos appeared on the long running daytime soap opera, General Hospital. Stamos has also played with the band, The Beach Boys, as the drummer and has appeared on Broadway in the play, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!”  Stamos was married to model/actress Rebecca Romijin in September 1998 before getting divorced in March 2005.

Stamos has been in the news quite a bit lately following the announcement that Full House would be returning with a new original sitcom on NetFlix, Fuller House.

Is it possible this DUI isn’t a one time thing and Stamos should be in rehab? Leave a comment and let us know what you think about Stamos’ arrest.
