“The Voice” season eight ended in mid-May with Sawyer Fredericks being named the winner. Now, we are learning who the coaches will be for the upcoming season nine, to debut in the Fall. As you may recall, the show started with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera. Then, Shakira came to replace Aguilera while Usher replaced Cee Lo. Eventually, Cee Lo decided that he would not return to the show as a coach but Christina agreed to come back last season. As for season seven, with both Shakira and Christina pregnant, Gwen Stefani took over as the female counterpart to the men and Pharrell Williams took over Cee Lo’s seat. He went onto win season eight leaving viewers and fans wondering how the show would line up for season nine.

We can finally reveal that the coaches will be: Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and…Gwen Stefani. Yes, Aguilera is out and Stefani is in. To be quite honest, I was not happy when Christina returned but she added fuel to the fire and made the show fierce whereas Gwen is too nice and more of a peacemaker. I hope that she can be somewhat catty for season nine because we know that Adam and Blake aka the bookends will keep bringing their bromance. All the coaches for the upcoming season have taken home trophies and now Gwen will be hungry for a woman coach to finally take it home. I am kind of bummed that someone like P!nk is not joining the panel as I think that she would be perfect for the show. Is there anybody that you think would make a good addition? I am super excited to see who they choose as their mentors. Today has been a day of big announcements as “The View” revealed that Raven-Symone is now the new permanent co-host of the ABC chat fest.

Are you excited for the new changes that are being made for both shows? Let us know!
