Dunham, best known as the creator and actress on the hit HBO series, Girls, showed the world there is more to her than her acting skills. Taking the challenge very seriously, Dunham came out in a Nike tennis outfit and told Fallon, “I wanted to take this seriously and needed room to flex.” Fallon was nervous as he was concerned about his song choices and given his first song choice he had reason to be nervous. The first song he lip synched to peaked at number three in 1982 by Charlene, ‘I’ve Never Been to Me.’

Lena’s first song was by Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding, ‘Outside.’ Dunham even danced to the song.

Fallon continued with the 80’s theme he started with and followed up for his second song choice with Run-DMC’s “Run’s House.” Lena Dunham’s second song choice was Queen’s ‘Fat Bottomed Girls.’ The winner for the Lip Synch battle was Jimmy Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon’s Lip Synch battles have become so popular, the talk show host has spun off the battles to a television series hosted by LL Cool J and model Chrissy Teigen. The show is already a hit, earning a nomination for a Teen Choice Award under the category Choice TV: Reality Show! Also earning a nomination in the same category is American Idol, Dance Moms, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, MasterChef Jr. and The Voice. Do you think Lip Synch Battle has what it takes to win? The competition is fierce, with most of the nominees being long established reality shows. American Idol is entering its 15th and final season in January 2016 and Keeping Up With the Kardashians is entering its 11th season. Winning would be amazing for Fallon and Spike TV.
