Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man,” is the must see movie of the summer. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd, must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, played by veteran actor, Michael Douglas, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
The movie is filled with humor, lessons and Avenger innuendos. Whether you have seen the Avenger movie series or this is the first Avenger type movie you are seeing, viewers young and old will enjoy the hit summer blockbuster.
Marvel’s “Ant-Man” stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Corey Stoll as Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket, Bobby Cannavale as Paxton, Michael Peña as Luis, Tip “T.I.” Harris as Dave, Wood Harris as Gale, Judy Greer as Maggie, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, and Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym.
Ant-Man’ is an incredibly powerful character. The character has the ability to shrink down to a very tiny size and command armies of different types of ants. Together with the ants, Ant-Man takes on the villains of the world. When Ant-Man is Scott Lang we see the incredible story of a father, hopelessly devoted to his daughter, who is trying to do the right thing. His devotion to both his daughter and his values makes for a great story.
With the press of a button, Lang can become the Ant-Man, when he is wearing the special suit. The suit encapsulates the Pym Particle technology that allows a person to shrink down to the size of an ant. Although Ant-Man does not technically have super powers, when he shrinks down in the suit, he actually exceeds the strength of a normal person and becomes a force to be reckoned with.
While you usually leave when the closing credits run, be sure to stick around and see what’s next for Ant-Man. You won’t be disappointed.
