Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops: “The Bachelorette” Duo Split Two Months Ago
Even though we are just now learning the news that “The Bachelorette” stars Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops have broken up after falling in love via the show, it turns out they have been split for a while. Britt, who was the second Bachelorette this season along with Kaitlyn, until she was eliminated, spoke to People about her whirlwind courtship with the contestant and how the relationship really was not as serious as the press made it out to be. What we thought was this perfect relationship, spawned from the get-go of the season was actually just a mirage of sorts, though Brady feels that he was in the relationship far deeper than Britt was. Perfect timing to break-up as they each could have another chance at love if America wants to see them as the next “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”
It seems more likely that they would choose Britt again as she says that she just did not feel it with Brady. “Everything on paper was perfect. But we didn’t have that connection I was looking for. That was a hard conclusion.” Britt was the one to end the relationship as Toops says: “What I felt for Britt was true and deep. I’m sad it didn’t work out.” We are sad too. It could have been the love to surpass all the other television failed relationships. “The Bachelor” does not have a good track record nor does our other favorite show “Married At First Sight” which saw all three couples split by the six-month reunion…and one end up with a court situation.
In any case, the relationship between Brady and Britt spawned from a television crush that he had on her. He hoped to take it to the next level, which he did and all was seemingly perfect. “It was a whirlwind. Brady stayed in L.A. and for two weeks, we saw each other all day every day. At the beginning, I was like, ‘This is it. This is my guy.’ He checked off everything on my checklist,” Britt told People. However, “He’s more of an introvert and I’m an extrovert. I’m just more loud and outgoing and I’m always on the go. Brady’s a little bit more meditative. We weren’t fed by the same things.” Hopefully they can both find the one whether it is on television or off.
