“Catfish: The TV Show” is proof that people still can be fooled from online dating. It makes me wonder how many times Nev and Max have rolled their eyes in certain situations. You can keep up with this season of “Catfish: The TV Show” right here.

Catfishers catfishing each other all because they felt alone or had been bullied so they want to hurt other people. Insecurities and vengeance, that is what the show boils down to and I cannot believe the lengths that some people will go to in order to cyber stalk an ex or hurt someone because they have something that they want. This season, we met Ashley, who was using a girl named Sara’s photos and creating accounts, making guys believe that she was in love with them. When the real Sara as well as Nev, Max and one of the guys she fooled, Thad confronted Ashley, she said that she would stop doing it; she lied. It turned out that Sara was still getting random emails and such from people who thought that she was dating them. How do we end this senseless violation of privacy?

They met in a chat area that does not even exist anymore (think back when MySpace was all the rage) and this is perplexing to Nev. Apparently, David was supposed to come visit but got pulled over and was on house arrest. Turns out, David was a girl named Geo/Christina and it was all a hot mess. After filming was over, Geo said that she had stopped contacting Andria whereas Andria claimed that she was getting texts every day from Geo, telling her how much she loved her. Oh online love.

Tonight, a woman seeks help with her online romance after learning that the other party lied about her identity.
