Esquire Magazine Calls Miles Teller a D**k? Teller Fights Back
Actor, Miles Teller covers the September issue of Esquire Magazine, where he was also interviewed and opened up about his pot smoking days, the paparazzi and working with Nicole Kidman. The article starts out by asking if Miles Teller is a d**k and needless to say, Esquire has captured my complete attention. Is he a d**k and why would they ask that question??
Based on the statement from Teller, “He says he wants to contribute to the body of great acting in the world” and not being able to find a word to finish the sentence, the author confirms he is a d**k. Or is he just arrogant and full of himself? Teller is surprised when the public refers to him as ugly, saying, he probably thinks he is better-looking than the public thinks he is. One thing is for sure, the actor is super confident – a character trait that is definitely an asset when you are in the acting business.
Check out what Teller had to say about Rabbit Hole, smoking pot and the paparazzi below and you be the judge – is Miles Teller a d**k?
Rabbit Hole: When shooting the film right after graduation Teller had a scene with Nicole Kidman in which he apologizes for killing her child. “I was in the hospital when they pulled the plug on my one friend. I knew what it felt like to hug a mother the day she lost her son.”
Smoking Pot: “I didn’t do a single play when I was in college, because all I wanted to do was smoke pot. I did zero extracurricular activities so I could get high. “I stopped when I started doing movies and went to LA because I can’t get a phone call and not answer it.”
Paparazzi: “I can either censor myself or not, and you’re always trying to figure it out. Do you live your life with all these filters and censors because everyone has a camera?”
What’s your verdict?
Teller wasn’t happy – especially when Esquire promoted the article asking if he was a d**k. Teller responded on Twitter by saying,
“@esquire couldn’t be more wrong. I don’t think there’s anything cool or entertaining about being a dick or an asshole. Very misrepresenting”
You can’t blame Teller for being upset – who wants to be labeled a d**k.
