Video: The Voice Season 9 Viktor Király and Jordan Smith Knockout Round
The Voice battle rounds are over, the top 32 have been chosen and now we are on to the Knockout rounds.
What are the knockout rounds?
The Knockout Rounds is when a pair of artists within a team are selected to sing individual performances one after another. The artists are not told who their competition is until a few minutes prior to their performances. The singers get to choose their own songs in this round. At the end of the performances, coaches decide which one of each pair gets to advance to the next round. Just like in the battle rounds, the coaches can steal one eliminated artist from another coach. This means the teams as they stand now can and will change, once again.
During tonight’s episode of The Voice, Viktor Kiraly and Jordan Smith will compete against each other. First up is Jordan Smith who sings Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.” Viktor will cover Alicia Keys “If I Ain’t Got You.”
The Knockout round will whittle the field of The Voice contestants from 32 to 20, ahead of the live semi-final round, which begins in two weeks. Pop superstar, Rihanna will serve as Key Advisor to all of the coaches; Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.
Watch Viktor Király and Jordan Smith battle it out for a spot in the semi-finals.
We will have the results of this battle round as soon as it happens!
