Kylie Jenner is showing the independence of an eighteen-year-old by splitting up with her older boyfriend, rapper Tyga. The break-up comes on a what should be a happy day- Tyga’s twenty-sixth birthday. Sadly, it looks like he will be spending the night without his model girlfriend by his side; this is the same girlfriend that he gifted with a Ferrari for her eighteenth birthday. I wonder if she has to give it back? The couple were together for Kris Jenner’s sixtieth birthday gala where they posed side by side in Great Gatsby attire per the party theme. E! is the one to confirm the split of the couple of over a year who tried to keep their love under wraps as Kylie was only seventeen when the two started their romance. He tattooed her name on his arm and they seemed super happy on the post-birthday vacation that Kylie went on, joined by friends and family. One source told TMZ that the split happened because of  “something Tyga did” though no one has elaborated as to what that thing is. Another source spoke to E! and had this to say about the couple: “They are on a break. They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after’ and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by her self and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that’s his one and only lady.”

Those who know the rapper, who infamously was with Blac Chyna, said that “he’s devastated” as well as denying that he was “doing anything.” Tyga still had a rocking birthday with such guests as Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio but not one of Kylie’s family members was in attendance. That is rare to have a party without a Kardashian or Jenner in site. It was also noted that Kylie made no mention of Tyga’s birthday anywhere on social media, leading many to believe that she is taking this break-up seriously. What can you expect really? She s newly eighteen and should be able to see what is out there and if she and Tyga are meant to be then they will be. What do you think? Done for good or just temporary?
