Ready to wed! Teddy Geiger and Emily Hampshire are rushing to the altar.
“[It’s been] crazy, so good,” the singer, 30, gushed to Us Weekly about engaged life at the 61st annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10. “I love it.”
And just three months into their engagement, the pair are already talking wedding planning. “We’re figuring it out,” she hinted. “We might just elope, basically. That might happen.”
Still, the couple are hoping to have friends and family around for “a little party” after the ceremony, the songstress added. “Neither one of us are natural-born planners.”
One thing Geiger does know for sure is that the Schitt’s Creek star, 37, is the one for her. “It just has been, like, really amazing,” she continued. “And I think we like to move at the same pace, and we’re both, like, super into therapy. So, we’re getting good at doing all that sort of, like, processing stuff.”
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the “These Walls” singer also revealed that she and her love aren’t doing anything special. “We’re really bad,” she joked, explaining, “But we do lots of cute little things for each other all the time.” For example, Hampshire recently gifted Geiger with a lot of “kitten things ’cause I like kitten things and I think they’re cute,” she added.
As for her gift to the actress? “I gotta step it up,” she admitted. “I’m being bad.”
Geiger, who revealed she was transitioning October 2017, announced her engagement to Hampshire in November 2018, just two months after the couple first confirmed their relationship.
